Realignment and Updates To Lake Country Brands

Bringing something truly new to a mature market requires real determination, and since first developing the concept of the UDOS® 51E, our journey into power tool production has been challenging, rewarding, and exciting. Overcoming technical puzzles, navigating new logistical and supply routes—in the middle of a global pandemic, no less—and creating and launching a recognizable brand has all required immense effort from our talented team at Lake Country, who have worked on the project in parallel with our long-established pad production business. We know we still have a long road ahead with LC Power Tools, but what we have learned so far and by listening to the feedback of our distributors, partners, and customers has been invaluable.

As we look to the future of LC Power Tools, we have come to realize that its position as a standalone company—distinct from its family roots at Lake Country—would not truly reflect the shared commitment and endeavors behind it. That’s why, starting May 1st, we are bringing LC Power Tools formally back into the fold as a sub-division of Lake Country.

Lake Country Manufacturing will continue to focus on private label opportunities while its sub-division(s), LC Pads, will focus on the branded lines of pads, backing plates, and accessories. Rest assured, these are simply structural changes and will have no impact on how you do business with Lake Country or the quality of our products.

Starting May 1st, you will notice the following changes:

  • A unified front on social media. You will now see messaging for both divisions under the Lake Country brand on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • A combined newsletter that you will continue to receive monthly, highlighting both LC Pads and LC Power Tools.
Our family at Lake Country is committed to the present and future growth and development of products for our industry. We feel the strong combination of all divisions within Lake Country will enable us to produce the products you expect. While we have entrepreneurial mindsets, with our supporters’ help and suggestions, together, we will advance this industry to new heights and levels.

We thank you for your continued support.
